Dunsborough, WAs top Tourism Town in 1999, is the gateway to Cape Naturaliste. Located 25km from Busselton and just round the corner from Yallingup this area has some of the most beautiful coastlines in Australia. Sheltered by the waters of Geographe Bay, Dunsborough has a lot to offer.

Whale watching, sailing, canoeing, fishing, scuba diving, windsurfing, water skiing, horse riding, golf, wildlife parks, wineries and galleries featuring local arts & crafts. The Meelup National Park is 200m away, and this is the start of a coastal walking trail that goes all the way to Cape Naturaliste.



Busselton Jetty Experience
The longest wooden jetty (pier) in the southern hemisphere is one of Australia's most unique eco-tourism sites.

Where on earth can you ride a train nearly 2 kilometres out to sea, walk the length of the southern hemisphere's longest timber jetty, snorkel or dive amongst schooling fish and tropical coral or visit an underwater observatory that takes you 8 metres below sea level to view an amazing, colourful marine world. Why not take an hour or two of your time to enjoy this unique experience!

 

Leeuwin-Nataraliste National Park.
This coastal park lies between Cape Leeuwin and Cape Naturaliste and contains hundreds of caves, golden beaches, and spectacular coastal scenery.

It is possible to walk between the two capes and in fact you are encouraged to do so. More information on the park is available from the information Centre.

 

Ngilgi Cave
The Ngilgi Cave is between Dunsborough and Yallingup off Caves Rd. and is open 7 days with entry to the cave every 30 minutes.Regular tours provide the thrill of real caving in a safe environment - suitable for all ages. Here you will see startling limestone formations and immense chambers of great beauty.

Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse
The Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse (1903) will be found on the north-west tip of Cape Naturaliste at the end of Naturaliste Terrace from Dunsborough.
Built from limestone quarried at nearby Bunker Bay at a cost of £4,800 it was officially opened in 1904.

Spectacular coastal views will be seen and there are fully guided tours, a maritime museum, souvenirs, walking trails, and whale watching in season (usually June to October).

The lighthouse is now automated and the last keeper left in 1996.
The lighthouse is open daily from 9,30 to 4.00pm with last entry at 3.30. In school holidays it is open from 9am. to 5pm. with last entry at 4.00pm. Phone or Fax 08 9755 3955 for enquiries.

Swan Dive
With a push of a button, the HMAS Swan was sent to its watery grave to take on a new life as a world class dive wreck. After 5 years the wreck has an abundance of marine life & has established itself as an extremely successful artificial reef & dive site. Broadwater Par 3
Real hidden treasure. This golf course is set amongst 25 acres of natural bushland right on the edge of Busselton. There are nine holes with grass greens and fairways suitable for all skill levels. Mirravale Horse
Whilst visiting the Yallingup / Dunsborough / Margaret River region, take a horse ride through the beautiful Leeuwin Naturaliste Park. Kangaroos, beautiful birds and wildflowers in season are in abundance.

Horses are available to suit experienced riders or even those who have never ridden before. Mirravale Riding School is a member of the Australian Horse Riding Centres (A.H.R.C) and has qualified instructors for teaching purposes.

 

Quindalup Fauna Park
This fauna park has the usual assortment of Australian wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, quokka, wombats and dingoes. Simmos Icecream
Situated on a rural setting 5km from Dunsborough. Come and treat yourself to one of 39 flavours of homemade ice cream made fresh daily. Simmos also has a nine-hole putt golf course, which is set amongst a lovely park environment. Take a stroll around the park and pat the deer, kangaroos, goats and emus. Happs Vineyard and Pottery
This website is devoted to the wines produced by Happs under two labels, Happs and Three Hills. Both are located in the Margaret River appellation in Western Australia. Our vineyards are in Dunsborough in the north and Karridale in the south. The Happs label dates from 1981 and draws its fruit from both vineyards. The Three Hills label is dedicated exclusively to the best wines from Three Hills estate in the south and dates from 2001.
